The celestial animal for the next lunar year is the tiger, and anticipating a tiger-like rebound in the economy, the Imperial Hotel Taipei is offering a promotion for year-end banquets from now until the end of March 2010.

The hot choices are Chaozhou and Cantonese cuisine, with a variety of ten or more dishes. Dinners for ten persons are priced at NT$8,800 and up Monday through Thursday and NT$9,800 and up Friday to Sunday. The Imperial's buffet is another popular option, and during the promotion it is priced at NT$750 per person. Menus can also be custom designed to fit the needs of the customer.
