First ever collaboration between a Taiwanese hotel and the renowned century-old Japanese wagyu restaurant Tajimaya

Tajimaya Restaurant at the Imperial Hotel Taipei is the first collaboration between a Taiwanese hotel and Japan’s century-old Wagyu specialty restaurant Tajimaya. The restaurant is operated by the hotel and features top-grade Japanese beef raised on the most advanced livestock farms in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The beef is produced in accordance with the highest international standards. The soup and sauces and other key elements of great Wagyu are all authentically Japanese. A5 and A4-grade Kobe beef and Kuroge Wagyu beef are used, professionally matched according to the taste of different parts to offer customers different types of shabu-shabu and sukiyaki set meals for one to two persons. The unit price range from $900 to $4,999. 

The restaurant specially commissioned the Japanese designer Shinichi Uchida, a master at classic spatial transformations, to design and plan the restaurant. It retains the original British classical atmosphere of the central island counter, and then incorporates zen-like Japanese design elements. The golden dragon is the main visual spectacle and is enveloped by 62 seats. The restaurant presents the style of an authentic Japanese-style hot pot restaurant and is the best choice to taste authentic Japanese shabu-shabu and sukiyaki.
 

Prices are indicated in New Taiwan Dollars. 10% service charge not included. Customers who bring their own drinks will be charged a NT$500 corkage fee.
